Privacy
Short, because this site collects very little.
Your basket
The basket lives in your own browser's storage on your own device. It is not sent anywhere and I cannot see it. Clearing your browser data empties it.
When you order
I get your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you gave one, and what you ordered. I need those to make the thing and post it to you. They are stored on this website's own server, not shared with anyone beyond the courier, and kept for six years because HMRC requires it.
Payments
Card details go straight to SumUp and never reach this website. SumUp runs the payment page, is the data controller for that part, and has its own privacy notice. All this site ever learns from them is whether a payment succeeded.
When you email or use the form
I keep the thread so I can pick up the conversation later. Nothing more.
What I do not do
No advertising trackers, no analytics, no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to. Your details are never sold or passed to anyone except the courier who needs the address.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google sees your IP address in doing so. Nothing else is shared and no cookie is set.
Your rights
Ask and I will tell you what I hold, correct it, or delete it where the law lets me. Email orders@craftybits.uk. If you are unhappy with how I handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
